River & Main Theatre Co. & T&AAC present ‘This is Rosewood - Tales from the Tavern'

Date:October 19, 2021
Time:7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location:Marble Arts Centre
Please join us at the Marble Arts Centre for a one-night-only performance of 'This is Rosewood: Tales from the Tavern', a heart-warming and hilarious one-man, small-town comedy written by Peter Paylor and starring Rick Zimmerman as Stanley Olmstead of Stanley's Tavern. If you're not familiar with Rosewood, it's a lot like most small towns. In one day, there's a lot more drama and a lot more comedy on the corner of River and Main than in a whole season at the Rosewood Playhouse, even when Stanley and Otis and the other two Stanleys are doing Harvey or Hamlet or Waiting for Godot. Rosewood is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone and everyone knows everyone's business. It's a lot like Tweed, but without all the hustle and bustle. "A new Canadian treasure… Everyone should go and see this extremely entertaining, funny, touching, charming play.” “…a masterful piece of work… he held the crowd in his hands for the full two hours of the show.” A co-production from River & Main Theatre Company and The Tweed and Area Arts Council. Tickets are $20 or $15 for students/youth/seniors - available at the Tweed News, Bush Furniture or on Eventbrite.
Admission Fee:$20, $15 seniors/youth/student
