Special Council Meeting regarding the F2 Tornado

On Tuesday, December 13th at 6:30 pm a Special Council Meeting will take at the Tweed Hungerford Agricultural Building (aka the White Building) at 297 St. Joseph Street, Tweed, ON for those impacted by the July 24th, 2022, F2 Tornado to share stories, pictures, videos, experiences and ideas for our community as a whole to work on identifying the next steps.
Those affected by the F2 tornado are invited to this Special Council Meeting. The goal of this meeting is to be a strong compelling voice in unison with our community and neighbours as we fight the injustice of both the federal and provincial governments as they turn their back on those in desperate need. Information and stories gathered at the meeting will be used to emphasize the need for immediate remedial action to prevent further damage in the aftermath of this tornado and will be shared with both governments.
