The Municipality of Tweed sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused. We understand the impact this may have had on our residents, and we appreciate your continued patience as we work to resolve the issue.

To ensure that reimbursements are processed as quickly as possible, we will be issuing refund cheques instead of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), as previously communicated.

Refund cheques will be available for pickup at the Municipal Office beginning Monday July 13th through Wednesday, July 15th during regular business hours. Any cheques not picked up during this time will be mailed to the address we have on file for property tax billing.

If you are unable to pick up your cheque but require it to be mailed sooner, please contact the Municipal Office at (613) 478-2535.

*Please note that two pieces of identification will be required when picking up your cheque (e.g. drivers license, etc.)*
