Enbridge Gas Ontario teams up with Tweed Fire Department to Reduce Fire and Carbon Monoxide Deaths through Safe Community Project Zero
Municipality of Tweed, ON, November 25, 2025 – Today, Enbridge Gas Ontario (Enbridge Gas) and the Tweed Fire Department announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.
The Tweed Fire Department received 126 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms through Safe Community Project Zero–a public education campaign

Arrival Time: The staging area will be on Metcalf Street @ 11:30 am.
The parade will commence promptly @ 12:30 pm down Victoria St. N. and will be approximately 30 minutes in duration.

QUINTE WATERSHED MOVES INTO A LEVEL 2 LOW WATER CONDITION
Quinte Conservation and the Low Water Response Team have reduced the region’s low water condition to level 2.
Over the last several weeks, the watershed’s low water conditions have stabilized with a return of more seasonal rainfall amounts. The last week of October saw significant precipitation which helped to offset dryer conditions experienced during September and the first half of October.

Burn Ban Lifted
ATTENTION RESIDENTS: As of November 10, 2025 Fire Chief Little has lifted the Restricted Burn Ban. Burning will be permitted provided you have a burn permit and follow the Open-Air By-Law.
