NOTICE | JULY 10th 2026 - UPDATE REGARDING PRE-AUTHORIZED PAYMENT ERROR
The Municipality of Tweed sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused. We understand the impact this may have had on our residents, and we appreciate your continued patience as we work to resolve the issue.
To ensure that reimbursements are processed as quickly as possible, we will be issuing refund cheques instead of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), as

UPDATED Notice | Preauthorized Tax Payments

The Municipality of Tweed would like to advise affected residents that the electronic reversal of the additional pre-authorized tax withdrawal made on July 8, 2026 is expected to take longer than initially anticipated and may require a couple more days to resolve.
If you require reimbursement before Wednesday (July 15), please call the municipal office
